What works
- Ask for "empty space on the left/right" so your headline has somewhere to go.
- Banners crop differently on phones; keep the subject in the middle 60%.
- Generate landscape (3:2), then crop to the exact banner size with the image resizer.
- For very wide banners (4:1), upscale first so the crop stays sharp.
Questions people ask
Why is the banner generated in 3:2 and not 4:1?
Image models produce a limited set of shapes; 3:2 is the widest. Crop it to your platform's exact size with the resizer, which has presets for LinkedIn, X, Facebook and YouTube.
Will the banner be sharp enough for a full-width website?
The output is 1536 px wide. For a crisp full-width hero on large screens, upscale 2× with the image upscaler, then save as WebP to keep the file small.
Can I add my logo?
Generate the banner with empty space, then place your logo on top in an editor. Asking the AI to draw your existing logo will not reproduce it exactly.
