What works
- Say who it's for: "toddler" gets fat lines and big shapes, "adult" gets fine intricate detail.
- Ask for "closed shapes" so crayons and fill tools stay inside the lines.
- Upscale before printing so the lines don't look jagged on paper.
- For a book, keep the same style sentence and vary only the subject.
Questions people ask
Are AI coloring pages free to print?
Yes. Generate, download and print as many as your fair-use limit allows (about 8 an hour). No watermark.
Can I sell AI coloring books on Amazon KDP?
Amazon KDP allows AI-generated content but requires you to disclose it when you publish. Low-effort, repetitive books are often rejected, so curate and fix every page.
Why are some lines grey or shaded?
Models sometimes add shading. The prompt forbids it, but if it happens, run the page through the photo enhancer with high contrast to push greys to black and white.
