Short version: no accounts, no database, no selling anything. Here is exactly what happens to your data.

In-browser tools

The photo enhancer, image upscaler, image resizer, color palette generator, favicon generator and the logo wordmark maker run entirely on your device. Your images are never uploaded.

AI tools

When you press a generate button, your text prompt (and, for headshots, product shots and background removal, the photo you chose, resized to at most 1280 px) is sent through Vercel AI Gateway to the model provider (OpenAI) to create the result. ImageSmith does not save prompts, photos or results on a server. The model provider processes requests under its API terms, which state that API data is not used to train models by default. We keep a short-lived per-IP counter in memory to enforce the free-use limit.

Stored in your browser

Recent images: small thumbnails and prompts of your last 12 AI results (localStorage key imagesmith:history).
Last palette: your last brand color and harmony (imagesmith:palette).

This stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count visits. It is cookie-less and doesn't collect personal data or track you across sites.
